ABSTRACT
This research discusses the improvement of speedometer test service time using an IP Cam in the Vehicle Testing Section of the Transportation Department of Boyolali Regency. During speedometer testing, the examiner must ensure the driver maintains a standard speed of 40 km/h and compare the vehicle's speedometer results with the testing device. Usually, the examiner has to enter the driver's cabin to verify the speed, prolonging the service time. To address this, the author applied an IP Cam to enhance the efficiency of speedometer testing. This experimental study used the ADDIE research model. After analyzing needs, designing, installing, and testing the IP Cam, it was found that the tool could reduce the speedometer testing service time by 20 seconds. In conclusion, adding an IP Cam to the speedometer testing improved the service time efficiency in the Vehicle Testing Section of the Transportation Department of Boyolali Regency.
