ABSTRACT
Global warming has recently become a very important issue and is a problem that needs to be addressed. A global strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the transport sector by highlighting the importance of switching to low-carbon alternatives. This research explores transition efforts towards low-carbon transportation through SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis. The adoption of new technologies such as electric vehicles and alternative fuels, supported by public policy and international cooperation, is a key step to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The study identified that while technology and policy support provide significant strengths and opportunities, key challenges include inadequate infrastructure and competition from conventional technologies. The results emphasize the need for integrated long-term strategies that consider internal and external factors in achieving a more sustainable transport system.
