ABSTRACT
The Negara-Pekutatan City Boundary Road, which connects Jembrana Regency and Tabanan Regency in Bali Province, experiences a high level of accident vulnerability. This study aims to evaluate the number of accidents and identify accident-prone areas (black sites) on the Negara-Pekutatan City Limits road at kilometers 90-110 in Jembrana Regency. Data regarding traffic accident victims from 2019 to 2021 was obtained from the Jembrana Regency Police Traffic Unit. Based on this data, the number of accidents can be calculated using the EAN method (Equivalent Accident Number), and an analysis can then be carried out to determine accident-prone areas using the BKA (Upper Control Limit) and UCL (Upper Control Limit). The analysis results show that the KM 93-94 road segment (with an EAN value = 69) is identified as a black site because it exceeds the control limits of BKA = 23 and UCL = 22.
