ABSTRACT

Transportation is needed to support community activities and move from one place to another occasionally, almost daily. Transportation located on the island of Bali has public transportation with the type of bus rapid transit (BRT) called Trans Metro Dewata. This research aims to analyze the performance of Trans Metro Dewata public transportation on corridor 5B at Ubung Terminal, especially on normal days and Siwaratri holidays. The research method used is descriptive-analytical with primary and secondary data collection. Primary data includes the number of passengers, arrival time, departure time, headway, and layover time, while secondary data includes Trans Metro Dewata route maps and transport inventory data. The results showed that on holidays, the highest load factor was 12.5% with five passengers, while on normal days, the highest load factor was 5% with two passengers. The highest headway on Hari Raya is 27 minutes 7 seconds, while on normal days, it is 5 minutes 33 seconds. The highest layover time on holidays is 6 minutes 5 seconds, while on normal days, it is 8 minutes 17 seconds. From this analysis, it can be concluded that Trans Metro Dewata public transport on corridor 5B performs better on holidays than on normal days. The holiday load factor shows a higher occupancy level, while the headway and layover time on normal days are better. This comparison can be used as a basis for increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the performance of the Trans Metro Dewata public transport in the future.
