ABSTRACT

Kediri District in Tabanan Regency has various shopping places, such as markets and shopping areas. One of them is on Jalan MH. Thamrin is the center of markets and shops with high pedestrian intensity. It is estimated that with economic growth in this area, vehicle and pedestrian traffic will increase, so it is necessary to regulate adequate pedestrian facilities. Optimization studies of pedestrian facilities are needed to evaluate the number of cars and pedestrian flows, determine additional facilities, minimize conflicts, and prevent accidents. In this study, the author uses a field survey method. The data obtained is then processed, and the necessary pedestrian crossing facilities results are the type of level crossing, namely pelican crossing with waiting stalls, and the need to widen the sidewalk by 0.24604 meters on each side of the sidewalk.
