ABSTRACT

Public transportation needs to consider aspects of security and comfort, especially related to sexual harassment, which can be developed through reporting facilities by the public. This study aims to determine the systematic reporting, work methods, and application testing to detect the occurrence of sexual harassment. The approach was developed through research and development using the Ruang Bersama application. The resulting application has four main features that users can utilize: report, emergency, ask, and information. The results of the tests recorded that all the features tested could be appropriately used, and reports from the public could be received by the call center and forwarded to the authorities to follow up on incidents quickly. Applications that monitor incidents of sexual harassment hope to be helpful and can be applied to all modes to ensure the safety and comfort of public transportation users.
