ABSTRACT
ver Dimension Over Load (ODOL) vehicles exceed the allowed limits of dimensions and weight set by regulations, posing serious risks to driver's and road users' safety and causing damage to road infrastructure and the environment. This study aims to assess drivers' understanding of ODOL vehicle limits. Data collection involves direct interviews using prepared questions and a questionnaire. Out of 70 respondents, about 75.70 % showed knowledge about ODOL vehicles. The majority of knowledgeable respondents were aged 46-55 years (42.9 %) with high school education (48.6 %) and over 20 years of work experience (31.4 %). Interestingly, 27.14 % of respondents, whether aware of ODOL vehicles, admitted to operating them. This research emphasizes the importance of enhancing awareness among drivers about ODOL regulations to ensure road safety, protect the infrastructure, and preserve the environment.
