ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the travel behavior characteristics of electric bus users in residential areas ofBandung City. Electric buses are becoming increasingly popular in major cities due to their eco-friendly nature,offering a viable alternative for transportation. Given the growing concern for the environment and rising trafficcongestion issues, investigating the implementation of electric buses as a public transportation option inresidential areas becomes crucial. This research was conducted through a survey involving residents inresidential areas in Bandung City. The collected data included user profiles, preferences for choosing electricbuses, frequency of usage, and travel distances. The analysis was performed using cluster analysis, whichgrouped each cluster based on their preferences and travel characteristics. By understanding the travel behaviorcharacteristics of electric bus users, further development strategies can be implemented to optimize servicesand increase public participation in this environmentally friendly mode of transportation.
