ABSTRACT

In 2021 the number of work accidents in Indonesia reached 234,370 cases which has increased from the previous year 2020, namely 221,740 cases. Simultaneously with an increase in the flow of containers which in 2022 will grow by 1.08% compared to 2021, it can increase the risk of accidents in container loading and unloading activities. This study aims to determine and reduce the risks that exist in PT. X. This study uses the HIRARC (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control) method. This research was conducted based on 11 expert K3 sources (2 people), Forman (1 person), Tally (1 person), worker (3 people), loading and unloading operators (1 person), head truck operators (1 person), RTG operators ( 1 person), ARTG operator (1 person). research results PT X has 36 risks in container loading and unloading activities, has 22 low categories with a percentage of 61%, 12 categories moderate with a percentage of 33%, and 2 high categories with a percentage of 6% in activities namely opening and closing hatches, stevedoring, cargodoring, receiving and deliveries.
