ABSTRACT

Effective protection is needed in the distribution of goods, especially in handicrafts whose economic value can easily decrease due to damage that occurs during delivery. This study aims to analyze strategies for increasing the protection of goods distribution in Balinese handicraft delivery services through POMATE. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach and literature review. The data used were obtained from field observations and literature studies related to the issues raised. This research will produce a system proposal that can be used to increase protection in the distribution of goods, especially in Balinese handicraft delivery services. The increase in protection referred to through POMATE is in the form of location accuracy, type of goods, quantity and quality of goods sent. The application of this system is expected to increase consumer loyalty to goods distribution service companies, improve operational efficiency, speed up order fulfillment time, reduce shipping costs.
