ABSTRACT

The “Green” Ferry Port is an environmentally friendly port or also known as an ecoport. The sustainable development of ports in the future must be committed to making green ports that utilize information technology to build prosperity for present and future generations. For this purpose, port sustainability will be at the core of development strategies and plans beyond systems and policies. This could be the most important step for ports to become a more sustainable business, setting the foundation for growth. The concept of sustainability for ports is the integration of environmentally friendly methods of port activities, operations and management. Each development causes the minimum possible impact, contributing to improved actions and controls for air, water, noise, and waste quality.
