ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the suitability of the Yellow Box Junction (YBJ) markings to the applicable standards and to determine the effectiveness of the Yellow Box Junction (YBJ) markings on the performance of the intersection of Jalan S. Parman - Belitung, Banjarmasin City. The research method used is a field survey to determine the suitability, service level, and percentage of YBJ violators. The results of the research on Jalan Simpang Empat S. Parman - Belitung, Banjarmasin City, the degree of saturation is 0.23 including the service level B, this condition is in the stable current zone. Based on the function of the YBJ markers, it can be concluded that the YBJ markers are not effective in improving the performance of the Simpang Empat S. Parman - Belitung Road, Banjarmasin City.
