ABSTRACT
The condition of high side obstacles in the form of trade and parking activities on the road body will reduce the effective width of the road section from 6.9 meters to 3.2 meters with a V/C ratio of 0.69 and a speed of 11.33 km/h as well as a service level of C. The purpose of this study is to determine the best traffic engineering management scenario to maximize the role of the road as a vehicle traffic flow. The research method used is a quantitative method in the form of collecting primary data and secondary data obtained from the survey results and then analyzing based on MKJI 1997. Traffic volume on the Orchid Road section after scenario 2 traffic engineering management received a V/C ratio of 0.13 at a speed of 49 km/h and the service level of the section became A.
