ABSTRACT

he case study in this research is about parking in the Godean Market area which is one of the centers of economic activity in Sleman Regency. On-street parking in the Godean Market area is located on Jalan Godean, Jalan Jae Sumantoro, and Jalan Ngapak-Khenteng which is the access road to the market with a 90° angle type for motorcycles and a 0° angle for cars and pick-ups. On-street parking causes a reduction in the effective road width, road speed, and capacity. The condition of unorganized parking causes the available parking space is not used optimally so that the performance of the road segment decreases. The existing condition of the Godean road segment is with a capacity value of 2068.86 pcu/hour, V/C ratio of 0.79, speed of 19.41 km/hour, and density of 84 pcu/km.
