ABSTRACT
Realizing a sustainable city in the application of Transit Oriented Development (TOD), one of which can be seen in the existence of a motorcycle custody area managed by the community. The study area is within 800 m with a motorcycle custody area as a transit node covering Jalan Laksda Adisucipto, Babarsari, and Janti in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This area is the centre of business, economy, education and tourism. The development of residential areas (Barsa City) and business areas (Sahid Raya Hotel - J-Walk) are the indicators of TOD activity. This study analyses whether TOD can be adequately developed to increase the national economy and tourism mobility. The methods used in this research are literature review, interview, and field survey. The result is the TOD region's clustering with the transit node as the centre. This study concludes that further studies are needed to optimize the TOD area, which has the potential to support community aspects, one of which is in the economic sector.
