ABSTRACT
Transportation is one sector that causes an increase in waste and pollution in the form of CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) emissions. The CO2 that is produced continuously will be released into the air so that it will damage the ozone layer in the atmosphere and cause global climate change, such as an increase in air temperature, sea level rise, changes in rainfall, and an increase in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events. With the increase in waste and pollution, it will affect human activities in all sectors (especially transportation). Therefore, handling and prevention efforts are needed to reduce the impacts that can occur, one of which is to form adaptation policies with mitigation. This journal will analyse how the adaptation and mitigation approach can be carried out by the transportation sector in the face of global climate change.
