ABSTRACT
The Pangkep archipelago is support by a sea transportation network system to improve connectivity between regional growth centers and local growth centers, especially those in the archipelago as well as to support population mobility and the distribution of basic commodities to the archipelago which is currently mostly served by public shipping. The results of the analysis show that the RPN value for each risk source variable that is categorized as high is the RPN value > 300, namely overload, fuel leakage, weather conditions, short circuit/short circuit and operator skill/ability in handling ships and engines. And there are 4 (four) risk events that are classified as critical for people's shipping in the Pangkep Archipelago, namely: the risk of the ship sinking, the risk of fire/explosion on board, the risk of equipment failure, and the risk of falling passengers.
