ABSTRACT

Today, many people already have private vehicles such as cars and motorcycles, which causes the number of private vehicles to increase in Indonesia. This causes transportation problems, namely the availability of parking spaces that are not proportional to the number of vehicles. These problems lead to the occurrence of illegal parking which can hinder the smooth flow of traffic. The location of the case study in this research is in the area of Denpasar City. Utilization of information technology is a solution in overcoming illegal parking. One of them is by designing an application in the form of a monitoring and reporting system called SIPELAPAK LIAR (Sistem Pengawasan dan Pelaporan Parkir Liar). The materials for this application are Sublime Text 3, Google Chrome, and Xampp Version 7.4. Sublime Text 3. This application aims as a forum for the community to assist the government in efforts to reduce illegal parking. It is hoped that this application can help advance the quality of service in Denpasar City in overcoming the problem of illegal parking.
