ABSTRACT

Tourism has an important role in promoting economic development. The transportation sector that is integrated with information technology has great potential in providing convenience when looking for information related to tourist destinations in Karanganyar and public transportation as a means for safe, comfortable, inexpensive and timely tourist mobility. The research method used in making website is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) by taking research data by direct observation of tourist objects in the Karanganyar area and public transportation modes that go to these tourist destinations. The results obtained data on tourist destinations in Karanganyar and supporting modes of transportation used in making SISTAPA or Tourism Transportation System" website. With this website, it is hoped that it will maximize the role of public transportation services from the government so that the number of mobility of visitors to these tourist destinations can be served properly.
