ABSTRACT
Genta is one of the telecommunications equipment at the station. In some areas, clapper communication links still use twisted pairs. For now, aerial cable transmission is considered less efficient because in terms of maintenance and maintenance it is a little difficult, and aerial cable is prone to breaking. So we need a radio frequency transmission system by making prototype radio frequency gentanic handy talky as a replacement for RIG radio and the DTMF MT8870 module as a translator of audio signals into binary, and Arduino Uno as a control center. From making decoder a gentanic radio transmission prototype, the overall test results for communication capabilities were obtained with the conclusion that if there is a barrier when communicating, the audio signal becomes noise, so the MT8870 DTMF can not translate. For the average speed of data transfer in the morning 0.554 seconds, afternoon 0.61 seconds and night 0.542 seconds so, it can be seen that this modulated radio frequency cannot affect changes in time and temperature in the field.
