ABSTRACT
The growth in the number of motorcycles is currently so rapid and has various functions, including for students. Students who have a residence that is far from the campus, the motorcycle is a very important vehicle used to go to campus. However, many students ride motorbikes even though their residences are very close to campus. The purpose of this study was to determine the motivational factors of female students riding motorbikes to go to campus. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The research data was obtained through interviews with 5 female students who ride motorbikes to go to campus with the distance between their residence and campus less than 1000 m. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the motivational factors for female students ride a motorbike instead of walking to go to campus were to save time, the distance traveled was considered far, maintain appearance, avoid fatigue, and focus more on learning.
