ABSTRACT

In Indonesia, public transportation services have begun to develop using the city's Buy the Service (BTS), which is growing rapidly and is used in several areas, such as in Jakarta, Medan, Palembang, Yogyakarta, Surakarta, Bali, and most recently Sidoarjo, East Java. The rapid economic growth in Sidoarjo Regency is the reason for using the Buy the Service service in the form of BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) or better known as the Trans Sidoarjo Bus and we also conducted research on the same Trans Jatim Bus using the Buy the Service (BTS) which where the research uses descriptive analysis method to obtain primary data. From the survey conducted, it shows that the Trans Jatim Bus is superior to the Trans Sidoarjo Bus starting from the fares, facilities, time effectiveness between one bus and another. With the renewal of the bus, it is hoped that it will increase public interest in using public transportation.
