ABSTRACT

The problems of transportation in urban areas are so complex, especially the problems of mass public transportation services, which until now have not been able to overcome the problem of traffic congestion. Based on the problems above, the City of Surabaya in 2018 presents the Suroboyo Bus operational service which is equipped with the GOBIS (Golek Bus) application with a capacity of 67 passengers. The above application was developed by the Surabaya City Transportation Service, which aims to monitor the movement (tracking) of the Suroboyo Bus in real-time and find out the distance between stops through the time table feature. The research method used was a primary survey to determine the suitability of travel time in the field with the time table feature in the GOBIS application.
