ABSTRACT
Coal is used as fuel for the Air Anyir Steam Power Plant (PLTU) on Bangka Island. The combustion waste in the form of fly ash and bottom ash has not been utilized optimally as an alternative material for road construction. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the potential use of bottom ash as a filler in the HRS-WC mixture. The HRS-WC mixture uses two variations of filler, namely cement and bottom ash. The variation of asphalt content used is 6.5%, 7%. 7.5%, 8%, and 8.5%. The results showed that the use of bottom ash as a filler resulted in a KAO value of 7.95% and the stability value of the mixture was greater than using cement filler. So, bottom ash has potential as an alternative filler in asphalt mixtures.
