ABSTRACT
LSPV is a hydraulic valve used in braking systems to regulate rear brake pressure based on the load carried by the vehicle. At UPTD PKB Sragen Regency braking capability testing uses the same Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as those that do not use the LSPV brake system. Therefore, there is a need to have an SOP to guarantee the quality of testing, especially for vehicles with LSPV brake technology. The research method used was experimental, where load trials were carried out from 0 kg to 100 kg. Data collection was carried out 5 times for each load variation. Based on the data obtained, the appropriate standard load used to achieve optimal braking capability on LSPV brake vehicles is 63 kg. The braking ability reaches the highest value at this load, and the LSPV brake valve opens to its maximum. These results will be included in the LSPV brake testing SOP.
