ABSTRACT
Evidence problems in the implementation of undercarriage tests at the Tandes Motor Vehicle Testing Section of the Surabaya Transportation Agency cause the inspection duration to exceed the applicable SOP provisions and increase potential exposure to health and safety risks of testers. The innovation of wireless undercarriage test visualization tools is designed to improve the transparency of test results and safety factors. This study aims to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the prototype. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire method, and vehicle testers used as respondents. The data analysis method used is parametric statistics through comparative hypothesis testing of two correlated samples with t-test formula. Based on the results, the conclusion is the wireless undercarriage test visualization camera gets a good response from the examiners with evidence of more optimal implementation of the inspection and can provide the results of inspection documentation that are more transparent to owners.
