ABSTRACT
Axle calculation errors occur when the Axle Counter fails to detect the train axle, causing red track. A reset is required to resolve this red track, and can only be done from the station where the error occurred, forcing the attendant to go to the location. For efficiency, it is better to use a remote reset control device from the UPT office. This remote control system design uses an ESP32 microcontroller and Blynk Internet Of Things platform, as well as a solenoid as the output of the ESP32 to press the reset button on the Evaluator. The Evaluator is equipped with a RESET LED that is detected by an LDR, which then sends the result to the ESP32 and displayed on the Blynk and I2C LCD. This system improves efficiency with a fast and safe reset for the Negative Check (PNC) Officer. Trials showed the average reset time with 3dBi, 7dBi, and 23dBi antennas were 15.73 seconds, 9.77 seconds, and 5.51 seconds, respectively, while the use of a router resulted in a response time of 11.21 seconds. Tests show that the system can be integrated without changing the Evaluator specifications, only mounted in front of the Evaluator to press the reset button.
