ABSTRACT
Strong economic growth in the ASEAN region has triggered an increase in demand for steel. In this case, multimodal transportation appears as a relevant and effective solution in supporting the distribution of steel commodities from Indonesia to countries in the ASEAN 6 region. This research uses several data processing methods such as correlation analysis, trip production analysis, BOK analysis, and matrix weighting. origin using the UCGR method. The results of the trip production and trip attraction commodity analysis are Y = -4.189 + 0.983 X4. In the growth analysis there is a percentage increase in the variables of population, GDP and demand. The total area of the country is not experiencing a growth process. Steel commodity production data experienced a decline in growth. The results of the BOK analysis are that the total cost range between zones is in the range of IDR 14,768 – IDR 4,843,489. The results of the UCGR modification of the origin-destination matrix show the movement of steel commodities within the scope of the ASEAN-6 zone as visualized by the PTV VISUM software.
